Firestorm (Stormy) did great on our vacation to Eminence, MO.
He went anywhere I wanted him to go – up and down very steep rocky trails, through deep water, ect.
He wasn’t spooky even with all the strange things he saw – canoes, boats, wagons, ect.
He is a very trusting horse and I can’t thank you enough for doing such a good job with him.
My husband is really impressed with him and is ready to get a Walker himself. Let us know if you have one that would be a good match with Stormy.
Thanks again, Kris Pundt

Hello to you both! I just wanted to tell you how FABULOUS big yellow, now named Sven , is doing.
I couldn't help it-tall, blond and handsome, and when we asked him if he liked that name,
he NODDED HIS HEAD up and down!
We figured out later that was 'cause it was feeding time...but it was still really cute!
Sandra, he is exactly what you said he'd be! Afraid of nothing, and a bit pushy on the ground-we're working on that,
but it's not a problem. We went down the road again today, Jim and Hunter on their bikes.
We passed several cars, culverts, & scary blowing WalMart bags. No spook, he just looks around and takes it all in.
Goes where he's told, the speed he's told to go. Awesome horse for a reasonable price and
I didn't have to go to Virginia or California to get him. If we decide to get Hunter his own horse down the road I will definitely call you! Thank you for your honesty!

"Sandra, I bought Beam's Tiffany Lace a year ago in April.
I was looking for a horse to ride on trails at home and in the local parks. Although Lace was not trained
as a trail horse, her willingness to learn and please has turned her into an excellent trail horse.
We ride the trails around home 3 to 4 days each week. She also loves any attention given and responds instantly
to any command. I could not be more pleased with Lace and will definitely check out Whispering Pines
for my next horse. Karla Wolfs

"Sandy, John (Gentleman John) is absolutely a doll! Everyone is in love with him. I never thought
that I would find my dream horse, he keeps impressing me more and more every day. There are
a lot of things here that would scare a new comer horse and he is curious, but he has this trust in
humans that is awesome. Everyone comments on his gorgeous markings and his sweet demeanor.
I consider myself a very blessed person to own such a great horse! Thanks sooooo much, Peggy"

Hi Sandy: I just wanted to let you know that Foxy, (The 10 YO fox trotter mare) you sold me a few weeks ago is just the most wonderful horse ever!!! The weather hasn't been that great yet, but we just got back from our 2nd trail ride yesterday and she behaved wonderfully….not only did she have perfect manners but all of my friends just ooohed and ahhhed over how pretty she is and how smooth she looks in her foxtrot. (I'm kinda stingy and don't like to share my pony so I only let my very best friend ride her for a few minutes). :) Anyway, our trip to Eminence is coming up in a couple of weeks and she has on new shoes for the occasion and is really excited to go. I can hardly wait. Thanks for the beautiful well behaved horse.
I LOVE HER !!!!! Leslie Sawyer

03/26/2008 Hi, Sandra, just wanted to let you know I received my coggins today. Thanks for sending it. Also, I finally got to ride Sid this weekend, and he was just great. I am so impressed with him. He has also settled in quite nicely. He really loves attention, and yes, I had to have treats to catch him:) Thanks for selling him to me, and I can't wait to get him out to the trails!

12/30/2008 Sandy, thank you for all of the work you and your staff at Whispering Pines did helping me to get my mare trained. She was already a good horse, but now she is a even more responsive and dependable horse! I noticed that her stops are far better, she requires less pressure to direct, and she has a more relaxed attitude when I'm riding her. She also knows that it's time to work when she gets mounted! The only thing that worries me is that I think she might like your trainer Victoria better than me now! Thanks again for taking the time with her. It's a relief to know that I've got a good resource here in Iowa, when it comes to getting answers to all my gaited horse questions:) - M. Hirsch

12/31/2007 Sandy, Just thought I would drop you a line, we have been riding River and he is doing Great, We Could not have found a more loving Horse, he is the best, today for Christmas we took him his fly mask and snacks, We took him on a trail ride and got some pic. Happy student Breta learning to ride bareback on Sonnett.

HEY GIRLFRIEND, wanted to send you a few of copper, arlin and him are
inseparable, how long has it been, 3 years now? THIS big o'l goof is
the most gorgous, laid back TWH we have found to match Arlin. It
cracks me up, we will be done riding and arlin will have treats in his
pockets, I don't even have to ask, I just know, he favors this big boy
and I do mean big, he has grown in height since we purchase him from
you! He is the one horse I can trust with Arlin and the only one I
have found him to bond with, if you ever find one with HIS LOOKS and
DISPOSITION let me know, cause this boy is never leaving, no matter
what, he will be here with us forever, you don't too often come along
such a laid back GENTLE GIANT as our boy copper, he is a dream boy for
ARLIN.

SO if you ever find another one like him, give us a email, we will be
up to ride him and try him out, I still have to have my loping quarters
and paints, but I do have a soft part in my heart for copper!!!!!! You
can't help but just want to hug him and just watch
him all day long! Thanks

Sincerely, Monica and Arlin

Sandy,

WE LOVE APACHE! I had so much fun riding him in the Ozarks for a week, it was hard to give him over to my son when I got home! Apache was great on the 20-plus hour trip home...a real trooper even though he was by himself. It was a long hard trip for me, but Apache made it so much easier. He unloaded at every gas station/rest area and was very well behaved, not spooky or silly or anything. He is such a sweetie and a pleasure to be around.

Here is a picture of my 15 year old son on Apache. We went riding in Wyoming's Bridger Teton National Forest this Memorial Day weekend and had a great time! Apache was so good camping overnight, and he was by far the calmest, most well behaved of our horses on the trail. This was our first big trip of the year for our other horses, so they were a bit frisky. Even though Apache was in completely new surroundings, he did not let our horses get him stirred up. My son is so excited to have a gaited horse of his own, now he can keep up with our gaited horses without having to trot all day. He and Apache look so good together it was like they were made for each other!

Thank you so much for keeping him since January, and taking such good care of him until the weather was good enough for me to come get him. I think that having you work him for a week really settled him down from a winter off, making him steady, calm and ready for lots of summer riding. I just can't say one bad thing about Apache, he is perfect for us and we feel lucky to have found him on your webpage. Thank you again for everything.

Sincerely, Lara Oles

Hello Sandra!! How are things going in the TWH buisness? We are the people who bought Sampson and I thought I would give you a little update.  We had the staff of New Hope Christian Church out for a ride. We had the help of two other couples to supply horses. All were TWH except for one Quarter pony. We put the most inexperianced people on Sam. I mean, one person knew nothing. I was a little nervous, but Sam did GREAT! He took care of those two people like you wouldnt believe. Sam was perfect! I am so proud of him. Well worth the little we paid for him, he's worth his weight in gold!

On the other hand, my horse flipped over backwards, thank God he missed me, but he came awful close. I bruised my organs, can you believe that?  I am very sore but doing okay. Thought you would like to hear how Sam is doing.
God bless
~Cari Kilborn

Hello! I dont know if you remember me. I am the one who bought Beu (aka Sampson) from you. Just wanted to let you know that he is doing FANTASTIC. You should see my husband. He is smiles from ear to ear.  This horse just does anything and doesnt ask questions. Doesnt shy. Just goes along with ears up and ready to go anytime. Thank you so much for being honest with us. Thank you thank you. Honesty is so hard to find these days.

I also wanted to let you know how much I LOVE this mare on your website. Proudmans little Jane. She is exactly what I am looking for. Do you ever trade? I have a TWH gelding about 12 whom I ride. He is not for everyone, you must RIDE the horse, not just be a passenger. He had done everything, but, he is not a horse you can just sit on and not pay attention. I am getting to the point that he is not what I want anymore. He has a GREAT gait and can do that gait at 110 MPH. That is fun. I also have a two year old SSH filly brown and white. She is registered and has
good bloodlines. I just really dont want to mess with breaking her and stuff. I just want something broke. Would you take two for one? I just thought I would run it by you.

I have this picture of Sampson I just know you will love. I thought I
would send it to you in a following email. We are going to Brushy today and taking good ol Sampson!

God bless
~Cari

Memorial day 001.jpg (54257 bytes)

Hi Sandy,

I wanted to tell you how much I adore Butterscotch, aka Scotty. He is such a dream. He recently came home from wintering at my sisters. He loves his new place and two new girlfriends, Bess and Velvet. The girls are now known as the hussies and he The Gigolo.  His and my work with the Natural Horsemanship Techniques are progressing nicely. No more cross ties for him. He picks up all four hoofs when I simply run my hand down the inside of his leg and will do it all from one side. Before I've reached his chestnut he is already on his toe waiting to see if I want his hoof up or what. What a smart boy and quick learner. I've only been playing with him, myself, for a few days and already he is responding with the lightest of cues. I was wondering if you had any background on him. Interestingly enough I came across a stable that had several Amber Champagne horses with almost exactly the same markings on their legs and hindquarters and thought about contacting people to find out more about his blood lines. It's almost uncanny and except for some different configurations of spots on the other parts and a little lighter or darker manes, they could be clones. I am sending a picture of him to the  stable where I came across the photos. Anyway, I have a few pictures of him I wanted to pass along to you. Most are from 2005 later fall. Hope you enjoy them.
> Cathy, proud and so very pleased with my horse partner!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Sandy ! I thought I'd drop a line or two to tell you how much we're enjoying Breeze (Black Gold) and Indy. We've had a wonderful summer riding many trails and even camping with them down in southern Illinois along with Judy and Ron Spitzer. They traveled well and were perfectly relaxed on the picket line . After we bought them from you, I put them on a sound nutritional program and had an equine dentist do some minor work on their teeth and of course had the farrier come out for some new shoes. Sandy, they are both so much more beautiful now. Both have gained weight and have increased muscle mass. Their coats are dense and silky, hooves in excellent condition and both are bright eyed and seem very content in their new home. The most dramatic change is in Indy. If you remember, he was pretty thin, hair on his tail and mane pulled out by other horses and a healing bite on his neck and his coat was dull in color. So much has changed. His tail grew out long and thickly, his mane is shiny and is steadily growing longer and most amazingly the brown on his coat became much richer in color.

Ken and I are fascinated by the change in an animal because of proper nutrition. As for the actual riding , we worked during the summer and fall on gaiting with rhythm and consistency. We're learning too, gathering information about Tennessee Walkers and having lots of fun. Both the horses are calm, sensible, honest and very obedient. While Indy doesn't have the extended gait like Breeze,  he's still smooth and fun to ride. We LOVE that smooth ride.!!! Ken really loves his black beauty "Breeze", and so do I,and we love Indy too. Well, have a very Merry Christmas and we wish you a Happy 2006!

Sincerely, Judy Klos
